MICA heating


The MICA heating element consists of an etched or wire wound resistive element laminated between two layers of micanite. Due to the high watt density and the high temperatures achieved the MICA heating element needs to be mechanically fixed to the application surface to guarantee an ideal temperature transfer. The heating element can be manufactured to allow for various fixation possibilities (e.g. holes, gaps or slits).
